As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to develop, here at Cardonet we are doing our best to ensure the safety of our customers and employees whilst continuing business as usual. We are following steps and guidelines to ensure we are able to do this.
Following Government Advice
We are closely monitoring official government advice. Our employees are all working from home where possible and are practicing social distancing. Any employees who have to be on site are keeping a safe 2m distance.
Health and Welfare
Cardonet’s number one priority is the health and safety of our employees, our customers, our suppliers and our wider community. We will always have this at the front of our minds when making decisions.
Working From Home
Our team continues to work remotely, collaborating using our cloud-based tools. Thanks to the cloud, our team are well connected to each other and can are set up to work wherever they can access an internet connection.
Assisting our Customers
As per government guidelines, our hotel and restaurant customers have had to close. We have worked with them to maintain key infrastructure and we are working on plans to help them become operational again when guidelines indicate it is safe to do so. We continue to work on a number of new hotel developments that are in the construction phase and look to be in a position to help them open when the time is right to do so.
Similarly, our retail focussed customers have had to pause their high street operations, but many continue to trade online and we continue to support them 24×7 as they do so.
We are fortunate to support a number of finance and professional services organisations, so following the push to set them all up to work remotely in a secure way, our operations have settled once again to a largely ‘business-as-usual’ state.
Our manufacturing focussed customers continue to operate while maintaining safe distances within their operations. The work that they do is seen as critical and, as such, we are available to support them with their technology needs 24×7.
Supporting our Customers
We remain committed to supporting our customers during these challenging times. Cardonet have been working with businesses for the past twenty years to help them overcome their technological challenges and part of that is to ensure that both we are ready and capable of acting quickly and effectively when needed. We are helped by having engineering bases in the United Kingdom, Europe and Southern California and a group of incredibly experienced engineers who are available 24/7 to assist and ensure that our customers IT infrastructure is highly secure and highly available.
