Introduction to Cardonet Synergy/Product Master
Course Description
This course provides and introduction to the e-Business world of product information management, using the Cardonet platform and hands on tutorials. You will learn about the new features and architecture of the Cardonet software, including data creation, normalization, classification, and syndication functionality. In this 3-day lecture/hands-on introductory course, you will gain exposure to the Cardonet software platform and learn about the design, development and deployment of a product information management environment for centralized maintenance and multi-channel syndication. You will learn how to work with Cardonet's advanced workflow engine to fit your business needs, and to meet the basic requirements of your internal and external customers.

Course Objectives
Upon completion, Cardonet Platform users will be able to:
· Create the required browsing taxonomy
· Create the attributes schema and business rules
· Set up catalogs and normalization rules
· Use the Cardonet Item Master concept
· Configure and operate the advanced Cardonet workflow

Cardonet Synergy/Product Master Administration
Course Description
In this course, you will learn about product information management, data synchronization, and Cardonet Platform administration. The course covers the topics needed for installation, configuration, and routine maintenance of the Cardonet server and the Cardonet staging database. This includes pre-installation procedures, licensing, managing the server status, configuring custom options and backup procedures. This course is not platform dependent.

Course Objectives
Upon completion, Cardonet Platform administrators will be able to:
· Install and configure the software
· Select and create the software architecture layout
· Fine-tune the Cardonet services and components
· Create authorizations in the system and maintain the authorization hierarchy (organizations, groups, users)
· Manage system events
· Manage system events log and delivery methods
· Manage the Cardonet staging database
· Set the system to work in automatic mode
· Configure a workflow · Setup and activation of the Transactive Catalog and the Self Service Portal
