Advanced Knowledge Transfer
Cardonet’s
Advanced Knowledge Transfer package is the perfect complement to Cardonet’s
powerful rules-driven automation software for product information
management. With the Advanced Knowledge Transfer package,
the customer can be assured of getting the quickest possible
start to his product information management, syndication and data synchronization needs, and
can achieve the maximum leverage and ROI from his e-commerce
strategy. This package is recommended for small to medium
size customers that have the resources and the skill-set to
take control and operate the Cardonet software in–house.
It is the minimum that is recommended for any customer.
The
Advanced Knowledge Transfer program includes 10 consecutive days of
Extended Quick-Start onsite services, 5 training days for
the Introduction and Administration programs, and a deliverable
of the Cardonet Superset documentation.
The
10 day Extended Quick-Start includes the following:
System
Setup and Mini Assessment
Installation and configuration all software components, plus
examination of the customer's overall e-business situation
to identify core needs, as well as specific product information
management, syndication and synchronization issues. Key items examined include:
business objectives and operations, variant product
data, taxonomies, production catalog requirements, commerce
platforms and overall solution infrastructure.
Sample
Data Processing
End-to-end processing of sample data to validate the smooth
operation of the system and establish performance benchmarks.
On-Site
Training
Focused training for both users and administrators of the
product information management system, including operation
of the software and recommended use scenarios.
Project
Planning
An
analysis of requirements, architecture, and possible implementation
strategies, derived from the assessment phase. Includes specific

With the Knowledge Transfer Enterprise Edition package, the customer can be assured
of getting the quickest possible start to his product information
management and data synchronization solution, and can achieve the maximum leverage
and ROI from his automation strategy.
This package is recommended for enterprise F-1000, G-2000
customers that have the resources and the skill-set to take control and bring
the operation of the Cardonet software in–house.
The
Knowledge Transfer Enterprise Edition program includes 15
consecutive days Extended Quick-Start onsite, 5 training days
of Introduction and Administration training programs, and a
deliverable of the Cardonet Superset documentation.
The
15 day Extended Quick-Start includes the following:
System
Setup and Detailed Project Assessment
An architect-level
consultant will work with the customer to gather the customer's
requirements, thoroughly analyze the customer specific environment,
and recommend the appropriate architectural design, development,
QA, deployment and integration -- all documented with a detailed
project plan. In addition, the Cardonet consultant
will demonstrate processing a real data sample from the customer
through the complete end-to-end implementation.
Also included is installation and configuration of all software
components, plus an examination of the customer's overall e-business
situation to identify core needs, as well as specific catalog
content management issues.
Recommended
for larger PIM and data synchronization initiatives, this
Knowledge Transfer Enterprise Edition package goes
beyond the standard mini-assessment to provide detailed infrastructure
and architecture recommendations, taxonomy guidelines, dependency
plans, user roles and responsibilities, QA process definition,
and more.

Integration
Program
This program is recommended when data or taxonomy information from the Cardonet system
is required to be loaded into third party systems like Broadvision,
BEA, SAP, Ariba, etc. Cardonet provides application programming interfaces
(API) through which we can smoothly integrate the Cardonet software to the customer environment.
The program includes requirements gathering from the customer
and the creation of development documentation.
The Commerce Interface Integration Program can be used for integration of the Cardonet
software with Ariba Buyer, Ariba MarketPlace,
Broadvision, Commerce One, SAP, Oracle iProcure, or any proprietary commerce
platform. Integration can be used for exporting data, taxonomy or pricing information
to third-party tools.
