Cardonet Receives Certification for Release 2.3 of UCCnet Services

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - July 16, 2004 – Cardonet, Inc., a provider of advanced product information management (PIM) solutions for medium to large enterprises, today announced that its Cardonet Synergy software has been certified as UCC-compliant for Release 2.3 of UCCnet services. Cardonet was among a group of companies which participated in UCCnet’s recent beta test program for the new suite of synchronization capabilities designed to help retailers and suppliers communicate product information accurately and efficiently.

With the announcement, Cardonet Synergy becomes one of the first certified solutions to offer a complete product information management environment, in addition to support for hardlines attributes, XML messaging enhancements, and other new capabilities within the UCCnet Synchronization Suite. This allows retail suppliers to use Cardonet Synergy to meet the data synchronization mandates issued by Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe’s and other large retailers, while also leveraging the software’s advanced workflows and rules-driven PIM capabilities to streamline their internal product information processes.

“We are pleased to be among the first round of companies to achieve certification for this latest release of UCCnet Services,” said Itay Meiri, CEO and Founder of Cardonet. “Item synchronization is a critical business initiative, and it is important for solution providers to insulate customers from having to deal with evolving standards. Cardonet Synergy enables suppliers to focus on the critical foundation of internal product information management, while insuring that standards-based external synchronization is easily maintained.”
